Led Zeppelin regroups for a "Celebration Day" last

Thirty years ago, they were part of one of the greatest rock bands ever stronger and more outrageous. Today, the three surviving members of Led Zeppelin to qualify for the high passes on buses in London. Their faces are covered with gray hair.

But these aging rock legends that dominated in 1970 with his loud singing, sexually charged, and the scene of chaos, are tested for more than three decades after the band broke up.

Tickets sell out quickly, ahead of October 17 release of the film festival, the film version of Zeppelin reunion concert acclaimed 2007 at the O2 Arena in London. The concert will also be released on CD, DVD and Blu-ray (Swan Song / Atlantic Records, $ 19 - $ 45) on 19 November, with vinyl to follow on December 11. Critically despised in its heyday, the group will receive the honor Kennedy Center, one of the most prestigious awards from the cultural, December 1.

"We were the worst. If the excess in every way," says Zeppelin bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones, 66 So acceptance "is very nice. We moved, but moved back."

In an exclusive interview with USA Today, Jones, singer Robert Plant and guitarist Jimmy Page rejection of talks on a trip, can not say that if we gave a big day and remember fondly the meeting in 2007.

It was a team of "destiny ... for the performance," said Page, 68 "It's in our DNA to play the music."

After the Zeppelin was founded in 1968, powerful riffs the band on guitar, drums and mixing lyricism and brutality blunt captivated generations. In its heyday, the group played the American public by 70,000 screaming fans. Zeppelin has sold 111.5 million albums in the United States, so the fourth best-selling artist of the American team, after The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Garth Brooks.

The band also opened up new opportunities for their horrific acts, the use of cocaine to the vandalism at dabbling with underage groupies. Self-destructive image was sealed when Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, 32, died after an alcohol binge in 1980, which led to the collapse of the team.

In subsequent years, two of the three survivors of the Led Zeppelin fell in projects that will shock and disappoint fans banging their heads.

Jones wrote an opera based on the game in 1907 by Swedish playwright August Strindberg. He visit the UK next month with the Norwegian Supersilent experimental group, traveling in a poor "van" - the band splitter on the back, a few seats in front - which is far from the ship, a luxury jet flew Zeppelin concerts in 1970.

Does he miss his day to pamper treatment Zeppelin? "Yes, of course," says Jones. "But I'd rather do that and play music that I like to start with the supergroup artificial situation."

Plant, 64, is so far from strayed Zeppelin almost like Jones, making an unlikely collaboration with bluegrass star Alison Krauss. His album Raising Sand won five Grammy Awards in 2008, including album of the year and has sold over 3 million copies worldwide. Now the plant is a South American tour with his own band, which combines blues, world music and rock. Zeppelin has left his day, when he had to fight to get back on man by the 2007 reunion concert, a tribute to the late Ahmet Ertegun, founder of Atlantic Records, who signed the band to his first recording contract.

"This attitude that went with some of these songs is something that I remember," says Plant. "But this is a different place. To go back there and that attitude ... it was difficult equation."

This page is quieter than the career of his former team members.

"I love playing live, and I'm going to play live at the moment," he says sadly. "I hope to play live at this time next year." He appeared in public only sporadically in recent years, representing Great Britain at the closing ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and playing with his old friend Roy Harper in London in honor in 2011.

They went their separate ways, but his 2007 concert showed that the substance is not dead. In the show, two hours, the trio, along with Bonham's son, on drums, Jason gave a strong performance, full of energy that made critics swoon, but the three played together in public only a few times in the past 27 years.

"Playing with Zeppelin is a little like riding a bike," says Jones. "When we are in a situation, many came back."

Plant, meanwhile, said his performance was colored by "fear fatigue .... It must have been good, because we had all worked so hard," she says. "And the expectation that big."

The band never intended to release a recording of the concert, but when it turned out that another meeting is unlikely to satisfy fans need has become more urgent.

"It turned out that the (images), you must go out, because there will be something else, some other shows," says Page.

"I see," said Jones, the meeting. "Robert has changed his style, and he does not sing as I have already."

But the team will regroup in December, this time in Washington, DC, to receive the Kennedy Center medal. Even Plant, which rose to 2005 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony Zeppelin, this time displayed. He wants to shake hands with President Obama, whose musical preferences even admires Obama in 1970, he went to Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire.

"He needs to go back and taste a little better," says Plant, not realizing that one of his bandmates common tendency president.

"Lead Zeppelin sessions when we recorded, I played almost exclusively Stevie Wonder," says Jones. "Earth, Wind & Fire, too, I'm afraid."

Their reputation is safe, but tell Zeppelin could be moved to the insignificance of if today.

"We would like to end up in the attic or something XFM" alternative station in the UK, says Plant. "It will be very difficult to get Kashmir (eight minutes-plus Zeppelin classic) in high rotation. Was a long time ago."

Jason Aldean modern and traditional 'Train'

Arena-rocker nostalgic feel that again finds Macon, Georgia, native longs for "wild and free sounds and songs'' you" never want to end.'' On his fifth album, Night Train (*** out of four, on Tuesday ), and it was much, but none of the latter.

Aldean Considered by contemporary progressive standards of the country for embracing elements of rap (1994 and The Only Way I Know, Eric Church and Luke Bryan) amping up wailing rock guitars and exploring the occasional edgy theme (Black Tears, sad, dark story of a stripper and drug referencing)
But as Often is in short, the hook-laden, radio-approved style and fights with timeless themes of small-town life, the desire to escape and greater desire to return (Drink one for me).

The first single, Take a Little Ride lustiest even the most general of melody, something about the truck, gal, her pink fingers on the dashboard and whatnot.

Stone Sour rock singer with a new comic book Dark Horse

Metallica ... And Justice for All and Motley Crue Dr. Feelgood were the innovative "event" albums in childhood Corey Taylor, which required in the future position of a rock star in line for hours, and then listen for a few days in a row, got recording time at home.

Stone Sour frontman determined to find a 21-century counterpart. For him, it involves comics.

Taylor writing the House of Gold & Bones, the four issue mini-series by Dark Horse Comics, and the first comic work debuting April 17, 2013, which gives a visual representation of the short story told in two upcoming Stone Sour album concept. First, the House of Gold & Bones Part 1 (Roadrunner Records), arrives Oct. 22, and Part 2 drops during spring / summer.

"This is something I have always wanted to do," says Taylor, a hardcore fan of comic books, which he will be signing at New York's Javits Center on Saturday during his inaugural trip to New York Comic Con. "I was always very critical, when comics go south and you just pull the fan from what is potential.

"I am very much putting my money where your mouth is."

Taylor is the latest rocker to join the fold Dark horse: Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello wrote a series Orchild My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way took two miniseries The Umbrella Academy for the publisher. (The road will also detail his NYCC coming true Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys book.)

Sci-fi/fantasy story home in the heart of Gold & Bones is also a morality play "set in this crazy world in which nothing is really what it seems, but inside it is really about life and the concept of evolution and change," Taylor he says.

A man is a man who has to figure out what the rest of life is, allowing yourself to change and be the person I always wanted to be or continue to keep making the same mistakes, bad choices and "spinning its wheels in the mud of life."

"I wanted people to be able to put yourself in his shoes and be able to refer to it right away," says Taylor, who is also the lead singer of metal band Slipknot masked. "The Human basically spends most of his time confused or scared or fixing in many ways."

The second hero Peckinpah (inspired by director Sam West) is similar to Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars fame: "He is older and Human tries to help while at the same time not doing anything for him," Taylor said.

A pair of antagonists, and. Alan is a ball of anger and sarcastic wit that can explode at any moment, and Black John is a dangerous, off-kilter, "God, he will destroy us all" atmosphere.

Some of the central story is from the people around him, but most of it is autobiographical for Taylor and the aspects of her life, she tried to find out in the last seven years.

"Especially in the (music) industry, we encourage you to not only appear to be so young and arrogant as possible, but you are encouraged to make their own decisions and horrible to have this kind of disgusting behavior. People think that it sells," Taylor explains.

"I figured out a long time ago that it's so boring and so trite. For me it was about shuffling to and find out who I want to be? Who I want to try to be who I aspire to be?"

Taylor says he is "voracious" action-figure collector who, bags, boards and alphabetizes all his comics, "because I'm a nut like that." He is proud to tell you about the time last year at San Diego Comic-Con, where he found a supplier who had both mint-in-box toy Alien film of the 1980 Godzilla and Shogun Warriors had been hunting forever.

In the early Stone Sour year in the mid-1990s, Taylor fell in love with comics in the Marvel Comics "Clonage Maximum" story that was Spider-Man, but he burned the music of "the establishment, tired," he says.

A few years later, Taylor returned to comics, when his friends in the comic store changed it to Warren Ellis 'Transmetropolitan Preacher especially Garth Ennis'. "It was so smart, so funny, so smart, so incredibly offensive that I became a fan right away," says Taylor Ennis masterpiece '.

Rocker was welcome comic scripting challenge, as well as work on the main story for the album concept, music and lyrics maneuver to where the conduct of the narrative.

"The songs and lyrics are in fact internal dialogue that is going on with these characters," Taylor says. "It may not be telling a story that is in the story, but it gives you a little insight into what the character is thinking at the moment."

In addition, Taylor plans to add more multimedia and good website full of hidden eggs such as handwritten lyrics, behind-the-scenes photos, and possibly a test of the comic.

It's all part of his plan to re-make the album essential for fans and create a journey that can be compared to the days of venturing out to a music store, finding the likes of Guns N Appetite 'Roses For Destruction and Favorites others and wrapping the music for a few days.

"It's so real to me, as it does," Taylor says. "I still care about what I do, and if that means going above and beyond, losing sleep, making sure that whatever I put out there is bigger and better and ahead of his time, than all, then so be it."
