Shakira is pregnant!

Shakira will be a mother, the singer announced on her website on Wednesday.

"As some of you know, Gerard and I are very excited awaiting the arrival of our first baby!" wrote her boyfriend Gerard Pique, a Spanish footballer. "Right now we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in life and postpone all promotion activities planned for the coming days."

The singer withdrew from the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas this weekend, but did not announce more cancellations - or a due date for your baby.

However, your schedule will not clear any time soon: she has been working on a new album in Barcelona and will join "The Voice" for its fourth season in the spring.
