Adele, LMFAO, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne to lead the finalists for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, which will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and will air live on Sunday May 20 at 8/7c ABC.
Adele has the lead as a finalist in 18 categories, including the award of the artist, the artist and the Billboard Top 200 of the artist. "Rolling In The Deep", a single line of his successful second album, "21" puts the British singer as a candidate in the category of seven songs.
Meanwhile, LMFAO is one of the finalists in 17 award categories, although the electro-pop duo actually won 22 positions compared to the 20th Adele Adele LMFAO and will face the Top Hot 100 Artist category, which also includes Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Rihanna.
Speaking of Rihanna, the pop star is one of the finalists in 13 categories this year, after leading the pack with 18 categories of actions in 2011. Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne each had 10 categories, and both compete Adele, Rihanna and Katy Perry for Best New Artist of prestige. I Top New Artist category is a diverse collection of talents, Bad Meets Evil, Big Sean, people parenting, McCreery, Scotty Wiz Khalifa and acts as the finalists of 2012.
The awards reflect Billboard rankings based on the key interaction with music fans, including the sale of CDs and downloads, song downloads, radio and releases, as well as streaming and social interaction on Facebook, Twitter, Vevo, YouTube, Spotify and other popular websites of music. These measurements are tracked throughout the year by Billboard and its partners, including Nielsen Entertainment and great sound is coming. The awards are based on the period March 1, 2011 to February 29, 2012. Most popular artists will be recognized in different genres, including R & B, rap, pop, country, rock, Latin and alternative.
