When the search for the next 'X Factor' judges, Simon Cowell, continues to play the timid who will replace Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger in the judges' table.
In The Hollywood Reporter first reported, Britney Spears may come to an agreement to make his league debut reality as a judge on the British import Buzzworthy. A source says THR well-Spears boyfriend, agent Jason Trawick, is negotiating his contact, which can be signed as early as this week.
"You have to wait and see" Cowell joked during an appearance on Good Day New York.
When asked about possible involvement by Spears, said executive producer, "I can not confirm or deny anything at this time. Truth is that we are talking about a number of people. Changes on a daily basis, to be honest with you."
Cowell admitted that two new names have surfaced in the last 24 hours, including a "famous singer" and "very famous actress."
"You must talk to everyone," he said.
Addressing the shocking dismissal of Abdul, Scherzinger, and host Steve Jones, joked Cowell: "They were not dismissed, baby they just were not invited back.".
"With the series," he added, "for many Britons in the program, if I be honest with you. A Brit allowed."
"I've always wanted a boy and a girl hosting the show" Cowell said. "And I do not like that type of accommodation hosts have a background, you know. I like when I have done acting and stuff. It's a different kind of dynamic."
