Green Day announces two concerts of the festival for this summer holders

Green Day have announced their first live dates of 2012 and their first live shows scheduled formally since late 2010.

The band, which confirmed earlier this month that it had entered the studio to record the follow-up, 2009 of '21st Century Breakdown ', will headline Japan's Summer Sonic Festival in France and the Rock en Seine, the event. Both shows will take place in August.

The punk pop trio recently debuted a teaser video on their official YouTube page in which he talked about his plans for his new album. You can see the teaser move to the bottom of the page and click.

Speaking about the album, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said. "I think it voyeuristic so personal and so this is the first time I ever really sung shit," bassist Mike Dirnt, meanwhile, promised that fans enjoy the new material, saying it would "blow their minds of shit."

The band has previously said her ninth studio album will move away from the concepts of their last two albums "American Idiot" and 21 'Century Breakdown and will be easier.
