Davy Jones' death this week, aged 66, was shocked and saddened by the Baby Boomers across the country. But maybe they are a little comfort knowing that the Monkees frontman died surrounded by family and horses.
The deceased singer's spokeswoman Helen Kensick, sent an email to select the media Friday, reporting that Jones suffered his heart attack "after spending a happy family weekend with his wife, Jessica Pacheco, and her family on horseback." He was, in fact, in the stables with his horses, his pals when he suffered a heart attack.
Private burial will be held soon in Florida, though Kensick said that public service in New York and England will honor Jones. No further details were announced.
