Justin's mother tells her story.
Pattie Mallette Bieber's mother signed a contract with Revell write "out of nowhere, but Up: The Story of Justin Bieber's mother in" release announced today. He wrote the foreword to the book his mother. It will be released on September 18.
In addition to writing about their famous offspring, Mallette gets closer to his own story about a young abuse, trauma, and abuse, which included a suicide attempt at age seventeen. She also writes about how his life ended when she was single and pregnant with Justin.
Mallette hopes her story will inspire other women in similar situations. "I want to see that no matter how desperate their situation may be, can hope for a better future," says Mallette. She plans to transfer part of the book proceeds to charity.
"The story of Pattie is a powerful example of courage and determination that will inspire all who encounter struggles in life," said Jennifer LEEP, editorial director of Revell. "She is living proof that even in the darkest places, there is always room for hope."
Justin published his first book, "First Step 2 Forever: My Story", in October 2010 and sold over a million copies in 25 languages. His second book, "Justin Bieber: Just Getting Started", is also scheduled for publication in September.
Mallette now helps manage his son, a career and support efforts to help vulnerable young women.
A.J. Gregory will act as co-Mallette. She is represented in the transaction of the book by Fedde & Company.
