Beyonce, Chris Brown, Adele Up for NAACP Image Awards

A series of R & B and hip-hop world of royalty are among the nominees for this year's NAACP Image Award.

Anthony Hamilton, Bruno Mars, Cee Lo Green, Chris Brown and ordinary compete for the title of Distinguished Artist at the annual ceremony number 43, while in the female category includes Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott, Ledisi, and Mary J. Blige.

In the category of outstanding Beyonce album "4" Brown faces "Fame," Hudson, "I Remember Me" Lupe Fiasco "Lasers", and Scott, "The Light of the Sun".

Although traditionally awards celebrate "the achievements of people of color", won the unstoppable Adele Music Video and Best Song nods single "Someone Like You".

Among the non-musical category, next to the Grammy Awards host LL Cool J was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama Series for her role in "NCIS:. Los Angeles"

Awards will be broadcast on Friday, February 17 on NBC at 8 pm ET.
