Kenny Chesney tops Academy of County Music nominations

The nominations were announced this morning to 47 Annual Academy of Country Music Awards and Kenny Chesney emerged as a leader.

He landed nine nominations. Jason Aldean was another of the six, Brad Paisley won four and Toby Keith got three.

Taylor Swift female leads individually with three nominations. Lady Antebellum leads nominations for groups of five, and Eli Young band has received three.

ACM Awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 1, 2012 20:00 ET live / PT on CBS delayed.

Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire show will be held for the second year in a row.
