One Direction To Appear On 'iCarly' The British boy band will play themselves on an episode of Miranda Cosgrove's hit Nick show.

"ICarly" is about to feel the effects of the British Invasion. The show has made a reservation in one direction British boy band to appear in the fifth season starring Miranda Cosgrove-show.

Boys will be on set from Monday to record their appearance in the episode, during which they play and perform "What makes you beautiful."

According to a synopsis of the episode, "Carly goes home sick after a trip and discover that management has accepted an invitation to act on their web show. Not long after arriving, his bandmate Harry is sick and Carly is caring about it. When he realized Harry was sick of the attention, they hatch a plan to bring him back in the group saying Gibby has become its newest member of the band. Meanwhile, Spencer becomes a personal trainer and gives a brat a makeover. "


Kids of a direction, which began after appearing on "The X Factor" in 2010, are superstars in their native UK, and now it seems they are about to break in America. Their debut album, Up All Night, is scheduled to launch U.S. March 20 and will be touring with Big Time Rush next month.

Cosgrove stopped by the MTV News offices recently and there was teased big plans in store for season five. "We are beginning to start the next season, so I'm not quite sure what will come, because it is something of a surprise to us all, even," he said. "But I've heard of Carly get a boyfriend, so it's exciting, and we will have some more musical guests, some great artists, different music," she said, and would love to have Katy Perry on the show. "There are lots of different musical acts that I love, so it's fun every time you get to have music in an episode."
