Adds of the "American Idol", "Gotcha!" Twist, more Heejun Han

"American Idol" opened with 70 players Thursday (16 February), and ended up 42, in Las Vegas cuts - described alternately as "brutal", "painful" and "deep" - lived up to their billing. Some who made it through the strength of their performances later learn that in fact did not make it through, a new twist. Twist was not given a name, but it should be called "Gotcha!" - As in "Oh, you thought you were going to go through to achieve his dream of being a singer Gotcha?" In Vegas, participants were asked to form groups and sing songs from the 50s and 60 on stage at the Aria Hotel, home to "Viva Elvis" show. Episode began, as all future "Idol" episodes of Heejun Han is talking directly to the camera while wearing a red hooded sweatshirt. Feud Hana from this year's resident cowboy rider, Richie Law, has already proven that it is dry-witted jokester at heart. But Han is also able to turn on the charm, such as, when tamed, "singing from hell", Peggie Blu, and turned her into a pile of mush in your hands. Regardless of the opportunities this season, Hana, it should be considered for the position of the next "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest should ever resign from his post. Or hey, is not "X Factor" looking for a new emcee? Han - God bless Steven Tyler, who sang "Heejun" to the tune of "Hey Jude" when calling his name - made it to the next round, along with groupmates Phillip Phillips (apparently goes by "Phil" Phillips now but I still prefer Phillip Phillips ) and Neko Starr. Jackson initially Jairon it through but then grabbed an ax to his neck after the "Gotcha!" Twist reared itself felt. Unfortunately, man, no one said, Las Vegas, it will be all fun and games. Richie Law, who tormented the Han, when they were groupmates in Hollywood, he found a new victim of torture in Las Vegas, Jermaine Jones. Two baritones made by the unlikely duo join forces to "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do", but I pulled it out - but only after the Law has once again demonstrated his tenacity, telling the cameras, "Do not come here for recycling music, come here to him. " His determination paid off, but he must find a less aggressive way of celebration, Jones accused him both of his bruises on the market in a cup, and almost at the neck off during manual handling of him after their victory. Four to watch Thursday was a group composed of Reed Grimm, Elise Testone, Haley Johnson and Eben Franckewitz, which received a standing ovation from the judges and have been called "unrealistic" by Steven Tyler to their version of "The Night has a thousand eyes." Performance gathered in fashion note-perfect, both Grimm - compared by some emerging Casey Abrams, but reminds us more of an actor Ethan Embry, for some reason - and heartthrob-in-training Franckewitz made their presence felt. Other victims of the "Gotcha" Twist included Gabi Carrubba, Candice Glover, Jairon Jackson, Gaga, on the same Angie Ziederman and Schyler Dixon, whose brother, Colton, came up to the next round. Singers who just got cut for the first time included Molly Hunt, Curtis Gray, Curtis Finch, Jr., Mathenee Treco and Nick Boddington. While most of the players took a step exemptions, Jessica Phillips wins the Sour Grapes Award for the most bitter rant night, saying the cameras: "I'm a real artist. It just does not seem they're looking for real artists," After the judges had to pack their bags. She continued: "Do not come here to win a TV show, I came here to record the transaction and, um, many people make it so are not real artists, and do not intend to sell. All records and not have to worry about, because it's not for me . " Britnee Kellogg, 27-year-old single mother from Vancouver, Washington, sang along with Phillips and pass it initially, but later reduced by the "Gotcha!" Only the 24-year-old Courtney Williams of Philadelphia it is by the original trio. Next week, the idols will continue to fight for their lives as the field is narrowed from 42 to 24 years.
