Taylor Swift has a date of the Academy of Country Music awards.
Country star struck fan, Kevin McGuire of Somerdale, NJ, to show rewards. McGuire is 18 and has leukemia. His sister started a Facebook campaign to get Swift to go with him to his prom.
Swift wrote in a Facebook post itself that it can not go to the prom, but McGuire would like to accompany her to the awards ceremony April 1 in Las Vegas. She is nominated for three awards.
Swift spokesman confirmed that he wrote post.Post Facebook page for McGuire thank her for the invitation. His sister did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
