Kelly Clarkson sang Do not want to stay with the country singer Jason Aldean Friday night in Nashville, at the same place where the two singers song debuted in November 2010.
Moment came when Aldean concert at Bridgestone Arena Nashville. Typically, Lauren Alaina, which opens the route Aldean concert company, returns to the stage to perform the song with him. But Clarkson, a resident of Nashville, Aldean let them know a few days earlier that she be in town and will join him.
Typically, Lauren enters the elevator back of the stage, but Kelly did not do that because she was wearing heels and could not walk on grates in the floor of the stage. "I did not get a note," Aldean said later. So he was caught Kelly looking back of the stage as she entered from the side. "I heard that everyone starts to scream, but I do not know where she was."
The two singers performed the song live for the first time during 2010 Country Music Association Awards show, which broadcasts from Bridgestone Arena. They won the Musical Event of the Year for their record of last year's CMA awards.
Do not want to Stay, which reached No. 1 in USA Today on the Country airplay last year sold 1.955 million downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
