Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder to sing at a private funeral of Whitney Houston on Saturday in what promises to be a musical service.
Publicist Kristen Foster also confirmed that invitations went out Houston's ex-husband, Bobby Brown, her play in "The Bodyguard", Kevin Costner, and Oprah Winfrey.
Houston longtime musical mentor Clive Davis, will speak at pogrzebie.PochwaĆa will be provided by gospel singer and longtime family friend Marvin Winans.
Queen of Soul was a close friend of the family and considers Houston her goddaughter, said on Thursday that e-mail Houston called her "Aunt Ree".
The organizers were getting New Hope Baptist Church in Newark ready Thursday for the funeral. Drums and loudspeakers, which were to be part of the music service, were in the aisles.
Fans without invitations will be stored away. Newark police say the streets will be closed for six square blocks around the church.
But on Thursday, there were several dozen fans outside, contributing to and taking pictures in a makeshift memorial on the superstar outside the church. Media were also outside.
Houston died Saturday in Beverly Hills, California, at the age of 48 years.
