Taylor Swift turned the fan to be her date for show awards, and it all started on Facebook.
Less than 24 hours after the leukemia stricken sister of New Jersey made a plea to teen country star in an online video, Swift said through her official Facebook page.
"Kevin, I'm sorry, but it will not be able to make it to prom," she wrote. "But I was wondering ACM Awards are coming up ... Would you be my day?"
Camp Swift MTV News has confirmed that the position of Facebook is legit.
Kevin McGuire, 18-year-old star of High School football, has a sister to thank for the invitation. Looking for ways to support his brother and underwent treatment for relapse was diagnosed with five years ago, Tori McGuire set "Taylor Swift Take Kevin McGuire to the ball!" MTV News spoke with Tori on Friday (February 24) after Taylor asked his brother to go to the ACM Awards. So where was she when the big news broke? "I was really getting ready to make a YouTube movie, to go to Taylor, it did not happen!" she laughed. "I was so excited and I just rushed to the hospital to be with my brother. I had to tell him, but when I got here, he just gave me a big hug and I just had no words."
When Kevin was processed messages, talked to USA Today about his upcoming date of your dreams. "Of course it is," the paper said, adding that the show award "is much better than the senior prom."

47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards are held on Sunday, April 1 in Las Vegas. Swift is nominated for several awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year.
