Guns and Roses Live |
Is the group playing together, or does not turn out, but it seems that it will be an exit of the original Guns' N Roses is composed of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony April 14 in Cleveland.
"I know that all of the original team will be there", keyboardist Dizzy Reed, the oldest member of the current GNR and inductee of the night, tells Billboard.com. "I do not know exactly what is going down. It's one of those things, I am sure that all together and be really cool. I just go with a good attitude and a clear head and grateful heart."
Fans were abuzz about whether GNR crew - which will also be continuous frontman Axl Rose, guitarist Slash, Izzy Stradlin and Gilby Clarke, bassist Duff McKagen and drummer Steven Adler and Matt Sorum - to put aside the well-publicized differences in the ceremony and pick up your instruments together. No one said for sure what will happen, and Adler even expressed open doubts about the possibilities. Reed, meanwhile, says that this is not even been the subject of talks between he and Rose from the Rock Hall Class of 2012, was announced in December.
"Honestly, I did not talk about it," says Reed. "I do not know when or why or how to bring up is not all the days of things, so it really did not talk about it - .. But I'm sure we'll have to at some point."
Reed asks Rock Hall honor "pretty cool ... especially when you think about all the people who are already contributed to rock 'n' roll what it is. It's a real who's who of great musicians." Keyboardist adds that he, too excited "for the people who supported Guns N 'Roses over the years. It's really cool for them more than anyone else. For me it is most important."
The current GNR, while playing more than care. After a seesaw Arena in 2011, a group of seven plays and theater club, including three in New York and Chicago, Detroit, Silver Spring, Maryland and Atlantic City. On February 10 a group show at the Roseland Ballroom in New York, Rose and co. broke the 150-minute set that included their "appetite for Destruction" hits and a few deep cuts from "Chinese Democracy," leaving a small crowd delighted.
"It's always so nice to change things and be a little more intimate with the crowd," Reed says. "Obviously we need to scale things down a little step will not be so large lucky not to be too much pyro - .. I always feel safer when it is not."
GNR will return to larger premises in mid-May, when it begins a European tour of arenas and festivals - including the Gods of Metal weekend in Milan, Italy - although Reed notes that "if they throw in some club shows here and there, I have no objection . I'm all for it. "
And what to work on the follow-up to 2008 in the "Chinese Democracy?" "There are people calling and rumors that we may be getting some stuff together that we do here at this small (theater) run, so let's see what happens," says Reed. "I just go with the flow. I'm always recording and stuff. If that happens it will be really fun and cool. I love to create things with all the guys. And there was so much material that did not make it to the (." Chinese Democracy ") From what I remember was a lot of really cool songs, I can only hope that some of these things has not come up and to work out. "
