We already know that half of the finalists in this year's series of The X Factor has been discovered by researchers and invited to audition for the show.
Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, spokesman for the ITV talent show actually admitted that half of the 12 acts that have reached the end were invited to participate in the exhibition.
However, he underlined that the judges did not know what action has been examined when they were hearing athletes.
The new rules - which also allow management offerings players to participate in the show - judge and former Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Scherzinger said: "I think it's great that you did it opens more talent .. '
