Mumford and Sons have matched a record set of The Beatles, by placing six songs on the Billboard Hot 100

The team that defeated this week Justin Bieber "Believe" breaking 2012 sales record album in the U.S. from the second album "Babel", added another astonishing achievement by six singles in the Hot 100, according to Billboard.

Mumford & Sons are the first team in the graph as many as six simultaneous titles in the chart of the Beatles 48 years ago. All songs are from their new album and includes "I Will Wait" (number 57), "Babel (60)," lover's eyes "(85)," Whispers In The Dark "(No. 86)," Holland Road "(92 ) and "Ghosts that we knew" (94).

The team matched sextet due to record streaming services, as posted an unprecedented 12 "Babel" songs in On-Demand Charts with "I Will Wait 'supposed to 555,000 streams.

No band - Glee cast, who scored a total of nine singles on the chart, are recognized as a group, rather than the scope of the compilers record - reached a total of six or more titles in the Hot 100 from the Fab Four on 19 September 1964.

The American team success is the result of last week's triumphant home soil as "Babel" was the band's first UK number one, racking up an impressive tally of sales 159,000 copies to become the fastest-selling British album of 2012.

Speaking to NME, on release of the album in the UK, multi-instrumentalist Ted Dwane said: "Number Two was the best we got with" Sigh No More ", so it would be amazing of course no one would wish in front of the number one. Mumford And Sons also just announced a second night at the 02 Arena in London in December. Team mammoth UK and Ireland tour, which will see them play some of their biggest headline shows to date sold out, but at another time in London was added to 18 December.
