Leona Lewis revealed that she recorded "We Found Love" from Rihanna and says that her version is better.
X Factor winner for vocals to Calvin Harris produced track first, but the song was later given to Rihanna after Lewis wanted to release a different song as the main single, her third album.
Rihanna "We Found Love" became a number one hit in 25 countries and is one of the biggest selling singles of all time, moving up to 6.5million copies, but Lewis believes that there can be so effective that the version was released in return.
"There are so many songs I have written, only to hear others sing them," she said. "It happens all the time. Was a bit annoying to see how big a hit around the world, but if I gave it may not do so well."
Leona Lewis's third album, entitled "Glassheart" is released tomorrow (15 October). Offers a record of the child's cooperation with the Gambino, the track written for the contractor by Emeli Sande.
