Lady Gaga and the founder of WikiLeaks Julian Assange, two of the most controversial public figures met in London on Monday to talk about who knows what.
Gaga was in London to promote her debut fragrance Fame has just launched an exclusive department store Harrod's. After the event, Gaga was the night (supposedly five hours) to sit with Assange in the Ecuadorian embassy, where he has lived since June waiting for either asylum or extradition to Sweden, allegations of rape and sexual assault.
Pop star arrived at the embassy around 7:00 pm and left after midnight.
While many will try to keep their relationship with someone like silence Assange singer went a different route. In typical fashion, Gaga let her legions of followers on the news before anyone else by posting photos of them on her fan-centric page LittleMonsters.com.
Wearing a sequined top and black witch hat - quite a contrast to the usual Wikileaks founders white T-shirt - Gaga seems to calm her companion. Although the photo is not signed, the same picture speaks louder than words (but maybe not as loud as the comments posted below it). Fans fought back and forth, with some behind the artist's association with hackers and others condemning it stood someone wanted by the law.
